Job Summary

We are actively seeking physically strong, energetic, and highly focused individuals to join our daily backroom crew. As an Overnight Stocker, you will be responsible for packing out freight, focusing heavily on our massive food, litter, and hardgoods departments. You will serve as the logistical heartbeat of the store, delivering the signature abundance that sets Petco apart in the pet retail industry. This is an active role perfect for those who love staying on their feet and organizing inventory.

Comprehensive Responsibilities

• Freight Processing: Unload heavy boxes of canned food, 40-pound bags of kibble, and cat litter from delivery trucks, safely stacking them on pallets.
• Sales Floor Merchandising: Push U-boats out to the sales floor, efficiently stocking the food aisles by brand and ensuring older inventory is rotated to the front (FIFO).
• Display Building: Construct promotional endcaps for new toys, seasonal apparel, and treats according to the corporate planogram.
• Store Recovery: Break down massive amounts of cardboard, operate the industrial baler safely, and keep the backroom clear of trip hazards.
