Job Summary

As an Inventory Control Specialist, you will be trained to investigate stock discrepancies, manage vendor relationships, and ensure the backroom operates flawlessly. Comprehensive Responsibilities

• Shrink Reduction: Investigate negative inventory balances and high-theft categories, working with management to adjust ordering algorithms and correct systemic counts.
• Vendor Receiving: Act as the primary receiver for Direct Store Delivery (DSD) vendors (e.g., soda, chips, bread), scanning in their invoices and auditing their deliveries.
• Damage & Defect Processing: Process all damaged goods, executing the proper reclamation or hazardous waste protocols to recoup costs and ensure safety.
• Backroom Management: Execute routine audits of the reserve storage bins, ensuring pallets are wrapped securely and excess freight is accounted for.
